The content of an employee’s employment contract can be specified or supplemented by means of a supplementary agreement. This creates clarity and certainty. The mutual consent of both contracting parties is always an absolute prerequisite for an amendment to the employment contract. The subject of a supplementary agreement in connection with benefits can be, for example, that these are granted in addition to the salary.
