As an individual, you can receive up to €156 per year in addition to your salary for your vacation.
Too good to be true? It gets even better!
If you go on vacation with your partner, you can get up to €104 extra and for each of your children you will receive a payment of up to €52.
How does it work?
As soon as you know that your leave of at least 1 week has been approved, please enter the period (start and end date), your marital status and, if applicable, the number of children in the :pxtra app.
In order to benefit fully from the recreation allowance, you must submit it no more than 3 months before or 3 months after your leave.
In practice, the recreation allowance is split over several months.

Please note: The vacation allowance is only valid for a vacation in the same year and cannot be used for more than one year.
You should keep receipts for payments made during your vacation, e.g. concert tickets or events, because the law links the recuperation allowance to direct expenditure during your vacation.
