How does the Jobbike benefit work?

Do you need a new bike for your commute to work?
With the "Jobbike" benefit, you can finance your desired model at attractive conditions and save up to 40% compared to a private purchase.

How does it work?

First, you choose the bike you want from a large distributor network of your Jobbike provider.
If you would prefer to test ride your favorite bike beforehand, you can arrange an appointment at a participating bike store near you.
Have you decided on a bike?
Then you will receive an offer from the respective provider and the leasing factor will be calculated.
Once the leasing contract has been concluded with the Jobbike provider, all you need to do is log in to the distributors portal and enter the frame number of your desired bike in your profile.
You can pay the leasing installments for a Jobbike either via salary conversion from your gross salary (0.25 % non-cash benefit for employees) or as an extra on top of your salary.
Your employer pays the full cost of the bike out of their own pocket and you as an employee don't have to pay anything extra.

The good thing about it:

You can continue to use the bike privately, now even completely tax-free. The tax liability for the non-cash benefit therefore no longer applies (even for bikes provided before 2019).

After that, you can either extend the contract or buy the bike for its residual value.
